Laurence Lieberman

I (and Randy and Brett and Matt) had a poetry professor at the University of Illinois whose classes we all rather enjoyed. This sketch was doodled in a notebook, probably in 1973. Laurence Lieberman is celebrated enough to warrant a Wikipedia entry.

Don't do it so much anymore, but I used to sketch quite a bit with color pencils- the problem I always found was that the ones which kept a good point did not have rich colors and those with rich colors tended to be crumbly and difficult to sharpen. Such is the world I live in.
