Gay Nineties Hawse

No doubt he sports a
derby or straw boater.

not a notable horse

in his field!

It's no merhorse...

Was reading about the Little
Mermaid statue today and
thought this is kind of the same
pose....oh, I guess not...never mind.

lash the horse's eyes

I reckon horses benefit from
eyelashes because flies constantly
attack their eyes.

Brown Horse

The great thing about drawing
horses or cattle is that they don't
move much and even then don't
have a great variety of poses. They
just kind of stand there and move
the head up or down.

serene horse

I recall this horse was
white or grey as they say.

Adjacent to Winkler's trailer

boids

These were also sketched in
Islamorada, but whether from
life or not, I don't recall. The
heron or egret or whatever it
is was used in a t-shirt design
I did for our hosts at La Jolla
Resort, Perry and Ann Purcell.

Spiny Lobster

Drawn from death...the La Jolla
Resort in Islamorada had several
of these varnished specimens on
display in the office.

It appears this fellow has big
shoulders or no neck.

Kung Fu Fighting

Who can forget U-Roy's
inimitable cover of
"Kung Fu Fighting"?
Anyone?

Lizard Lancer

In the mid-to-late 70s I made
a number of sketches of Lizard
People in "human" garb.
I don't know why.

Haughty gal

I honestly don't know
anyone like this.

Crab

I dunno about you, but
personally, I like drawing crabs.
