Billy the Kid

This was the 2nd of numerous Billy the Kid Pageant

t-shirt designs I did from the 70s-90s...we called it

"Little Billy" because the previous year's shirt focused

on a larger head, called "Big Billy"

Jim Ramsey, New Mexico Old-Timer

Jim Ramsey was this old-timer in Lincoln,
New Mexico who lived in a tumble-down
adobe. He whittled for me a classic deadfall
mechanism which I still have somewhere.
This is an awfully good portrait and I can
hardly believe I drew it from life, but I
think I did.

when I pieced it together in GIMP,
the joints don't look that great I must
admit...but I still like the vista,
sketched from a hilltop.
