Rist Canyon Colorado Retreat

My buddy Dwayne slumbering
on beanbags in a Rist Canyon chateau
west of Fort Collins, CO. The mask

Jim Ramsey, New Mexico Old-Timer

Jim Ramsey was this old-timer in Lincoln,
New Mexico who lived in a tumble-down
adobe. He whittled for me a classic deadfall
mechanism which I still have somewhere.
This is an awfully good portrait and I can
hardly believe I drew it from life, but I
think I did.

Jersey Shore

Two friends re-united along the
Jersey Shore...one a bon-vivant
and freshly minted attorney-
the other, brilliant but fragile,
slaving in a NYC garage for the
Moonies- she later married in
one of their mass-ceremonies.

The Dayhills #3

I haven't typically seen harp
players playing in taverns,
but Tom Dayhil's wife did just that.

ship

Although I have mostly lived near
one of the Great Lakes, I seldom have
drawn ships...here's one in New Jersey.
